ComforTec™ Technology
- A set of hardware and software features that ensure clear, natural sound quality and listening comfort
- Software features include WarpOpen wide dynamic range compression, Stabilizer Digital Feedback Suppression and Multi-band fast acting noise reduction
WarpOpen™
- Three band wide dynamic range compression system that adjusts the bandwidths and cross over frequencies to the patient's hearing loss
- A processing speed of 3.5 msec.
Stabilizer™ DFS
- Requires an in situ measurement in order to store the individual feedback path in the memory of the hearing instrument
- Allows for an open fitting without sacrificing gain
- Provide an additional 12-15 dB of high frequency gain
Fast-Acting, Multi-Band Noise Reduction
- Modulation based system
- Fast attack and release time
- Combined noise reduction and low level expansion provides comfortable listening in noisy and quiet environments
Reconfigurability
- 2-1 hearing instrument
- ReSound AIR can be reconfigured to a ReSound AIR Plus and vise versa
- ReSound AIR Plus provides an additional 5 dB of gain across the frequency response. The additional gain extends the fitting range of AIR Plus 10 dB in comparison to standard ReSound AIR
Other Features
- Virtually invisible sound tubes
- Multiple dome options
- Standard domes come in three sizes. They are soft, flexible and non-occluding with multiple vents in the dome itself
- Tulip domes are more occluding and are appropriate for more severe hearing losses
- ReSound AIR and ReSound AIR Plus are available in a mini BTE style
