Q: What is the best way to keep my hearing instruments clean?

You can wipe the surface of the hearing device with a clean dry cloth or brush the surface gently with a soft brush. If you have a custom device, gently clean the sound channel with the wax loop and carefully remove any wax or debris. If you have a behind-the-ear device, clean your earmould by gently removing any wax or debris with the wax loop. You may detach your earmould from your hearing instrument and clean it with warm water and mild soap . However, be sure both the earmould and tubing are completely dry before reattaching it to your hearing instrument. NEVER allow your hearing instrument to get wet or submerge it in any liquids.
